The Correctional Officers Association of Delaware (COAD) is proud to announce a new partnership with Optavise, bringing additional benefits, resources, and opportunities exclusively to COAD members and their families.

Members and their families can explore affordable online college degree programs available through partner schools, creating additional opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Supplemental Health & Life Benefits

Members can learn about supplemental health and life coverage options designed to provide additional financial protection when life’s unexpected challenges occur, including injuries, heart attacks, cancer, loss of life, and other qualifying events.

FREE $10,000 AD&D Benefit

COAD members can receive a $10,000 Accidental Death & Dism

emberment (AD&D) benefit at no cost simply by stopping by and meeting with a benefits representative.

Optavise Representatives Are Coming to Our Facilities

To make it easier for members to learn about these opportunities, benefits representatives will be visiting facilities across Delaware:

August 25–27 — SCI / SCCC
September 2 — COAD Union Hall
September 3–4 — BWCI / HDP
September 8–11 — JTVCC
September 14–16 — HRYCI
September 17–18 — CCTC

Representatives will work to reach members across shifts during the scheduled visits.
